In fact, a real inability to breastfeed occurs only in 1% of women. It is related to an anatomical underdevelopment of the mammary glands and to some grave conditions of the endocrine system. In all other cases the disorder is purely functional. The milk forms from the blood in the gland and therefore the amount of milk formed depends on the blood supply in the breast. When breastfeeding, the woman must drink more, keep her breasts warm and thoroughly draw off the remains of the milk. Completely drawing off the remains prompts the forming of more milk (lactation). If there is not enough milk because of poor blood supply to the breast, then a 5-min. application of the "Vitafon" within 20-30 minutes after breastfeeding each day improves the circulation and hopefully increases the lactation.
One gynaecological pathological condition involves a disorder of the menstrual cycle due to various reasons. This general title includes several conditions varying in severity, and each of them demands its own treatment. Therefore visitation to a gynaecologist is necessary. Hypertension is a common fellow-companion of elderly people.In other words, it's the increase in atrerial pressure. Hypertension is a treacherous disease. The increased arterial pressure may lead not only to stress on the heart and to cardiac pain, but also to infarction. The stress is increased not only for the heart alone but also for the vessels. This may result in a brain stroke. In brain stroke, death or a paralysis of extremities occurs quite often.
The upper arterial pressure is considered safe if it does not exceed 100 plus the age of the patient, and the critic one - 110 plus the age of the patient. It is not recommended to have a pressure above these figures. The optimal upper pressure is 90 plus one's age although this figure is rather individual. Many people have a stable blood pressure of 120/80 until the age of 50-60. In children the pressure is 100/60 as a rule. In young people: 110/70-120/80. Many individuals see their blood pressure increase with age.
The greatest and, unfortunately, most widely spread mistake in treatment of hypertension is to undergo an irregular treatment. One should not forget that just 1 second of high pressure may be sufficient for a brain stroke. Therefore it is necessary to maintain a stable pressure. Treatment must start gradually and terminate just as gradually, and in elderly people with chronic hypertension, the treatment should be constant with a thoroughly selected dosage.
Dizziness, nausea, weakness, headaches, cardiac pains; all these signs separately or in combination may accompany hypertension and give ground for measuring blood pressure and consulting a competent physician. Age-related changes in the blood pressure are very slow. Therefore even a 10-unit increase per 24 hours may induce signs of hypertension.
There are many causes of hypertension. They may involve:
- A release of a large amount of adrenaline into the blood during stress (this leads to a temporary increase in the blood pressure, which then drops to a normal level)
- Insufficient renal functions directly are related to the upper level of arterial pressure (the so called renal hypertension)
- Vascular spasm leads to enhanced effort in maintaining the normal blood supply, and the effort is expressed as increased pressure. The heart and brain suffer from vascular spasm, as do the blood vessels.
If an increased pressure occurs for the first time and its value remain below the critical one, then one can abstain from taking medicines. In this case, a "Vitafon" procedure before going to bed is recommended.
When there is a stable increase in blood pressure, one should visit a physician to find out what the causes of the disease are and to receive a prescribed treatment. In this case doses of the drugs should be selected as well as a scheme of treatment with the aid of the "Vitafon".

We are often asked whether it is possible to treat small children with the "Vitafon." When a child screams because of stomach pain or for other reasons, its scream creates the same vibration as the "Vitafon" creates when used on the cervical portion of the spine, and produces possibly even a greater effect. The "Vitafon" effect is quite compatible with the organism - that is why the "Vitafon" therapy may be applied right after birth. The device was used for the first time on a new-born infant at the First Municipal Hospital of St.Petersburg - one of the most sound and modern medical institutions in Russia. The experience of using the device on several thousand patients has shown that age is of no great significance. Neither in the first day, nor at the age of 9-10 months did the children show any negative responses to the procedures (no excitation occurred, no insomnia, no appetite disorders). Moreover, the device exerted a general favorable effect upon the organism, improving the digestive process in particular. The only difference is that in children younger than 1 year of age, the only the first regimen should be used. However, just like in other cases, a correct diagnosis should first be made for the child and the application of this particular method should be substantiated.
"Vitafon" is already used for treatment of discirculatory encephalopathy in children and in adults, and therefore there is ground to suggest that the phoning may be used in encephalopathy of new-born infants, which occurs due to a disorder in brain circulation. In teenagers, from 10 to 16 years, prophylactic procedures of the "Vitafon" therapy on the spine may prevent problems in future. Even a small and seemingly insignificant pathology of the spine with age can transform into a serious disease. Unfortunately, children and teenagers are presented to a physician only when something is already wrong with them.
Usually youth ignore treatment in the belief that "it will pass away by itself." Unfortunately it does not always pass away, and often in a number of years it becomes only too evident when the remaining pathology transforms into a serious disease. At a mature age one is always prevented from caring for one's health by a job or by family affairs. It turns out that mainly pensioners apply for treatment. At an elderly age, however, it is much more difficult to cure a disease. In childhood, in order to avoid future problems, it is sufficient to undergo a few sessions with the "Vitafon," at a young age - to have 1 course of the treatment, at a mature age - 2 or 3 courses of the treatment. But at an elderly age, 4 to 6 months and sometimes longer are necessary to attain a substantial improvement. In the operating instructions for the device, pregnancy is included in the list of contraindications. Some users think therefore that one can get rid of a pregnancy with the aid of the "Vitafon". But this is incorrect.
The vibroacoustic effect cannot possibly interrupt pregnancy. Microvibration will improve blood supply to the fetus and placenta, but it is unknown how it will affect the future child and this is no place for experimentation. That is why application of the "Vitafon" is not recommended for pregnant women.
Following birth, in the case of rupture formation, the "Vitafon" will accelerate healing of wounds and will prevent complications in the mother's organism. In this case it should be applied in the same way as for healing postoperative sutures. In 2-3 weeks after the birth, it is recommended to have 1 or 2 prophylactic courses of "Vitafon" therapy on the lumbar-sacral portion of the spine to normalize the menstrual cycle and functions of the abdominal cavity. The same treatment is expedient 2 or 3 months prior to a planned pregnancy, because in the future the fetus will place an increased load on the mother's spine (but only as recommended by a physician and after ultrasonic examination).
Bearing and birth of a child is associated with serious physiological and hormonal readjustments in a woman's organism. After birth, unfortunately, some adverse complications may develop:
- pain in the perineum due to severe stretching
- ruptures or cuts (these pains may last 3-6 weeks)
- spasms in the intestine and constipation
- a suture due to a Caesarean section

Follow general safety rules for exploitation of electrical devices!
Keep the main body of the device dry. It is forbidden to wipe a switched device with a wet napkin and to use the apparatus in the bathrooms or at the shower cabins. It is also forbidden to apply the device switched to the socket of a car when the car is moving.
Attention for fire safety!
Before using the device make sure that the socket is in order and the plug is undamaged.
Keep the apparatus from falling down. Its vibrophones include optical and fine mechanical parts that should be kept from hitting by hard surface and falling. Do not lay vibrophones cords along.
It is recommended to place the apparatus at the table, bed-side table etc. where it will be safe from falling and easy to operate. The device can be connected with the help of professionally manufactured extender. When the treatment is over, the device should be switched off and placed to its original box.

Vitafon-T is to be used for prevention and treatment of the diseases, caused by dysfunctions of capillary blood and lymph flows. The device produces microvibrations of continuously changing frequency, which leads to a multiple increase of blood and lymph flow within the zone treated and helps to provide detectable therapeutic healing effect during the treatment of inflammatory and traumatic diseases.
Vitafon-T is to be used in hospitals, other medical institutions and sanatoriums across the Russia, Ukraine and in some Eastern Europe countries. It can be also effectively applied by a patient at home, after consultation with a doctor and under his supervision.

The Vitafon-T apparatus (see picture) consists of a main electronic block and two joint converters, the so-called "vibrophones". At the main electronic block there is a socket via which an external power source can be connected with the device. Deliverable power supply unit working from alternating current network and supports 220-240V Euro standard. On the face panel of the main block there are main tools of data entry and control and a digital display. Number of the chosen Mode and duration of the treatment session are indicated on the display.
The main electronic block of the device provides realization of the programmed parameters and produces signal, necessary for functioning of vibrophones. In contact with body tissues, membranes of vibrophones produce microvibrations of bodily tissues within the zone treated. Frequency of microvibrations automatically changes in accordance with a pre-given cycle program within the range of sound frequencies.

The apparatus is to work properly for a long time in the following conditions:
- air temperature: +(25±10)
- relative humidity: 45 - 80%.
During long breaks between using sessions the apparatus should be stored in its initial package. After a long-distance shift or cooling, the device is to stay in the normal conditions (room temperature) unswitched for 2 hours.
For disinfection the main body and converters of the apparatus are to be wiped with a napkin slightly moistened with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution.

Make sure that the device and converters are not damaged.
Before the first use, wipe membranes with a napkin to disinfect them. For this moisten a napkin with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and wring it out. Later on do it as necessary.
Connect the main electronic block of the device to the chosen source of power. When the power is received, for a short period of time the following data will be indicated on the display: I (status "Preparation for work"). Then, in 2 seconds, one will see on the display automatically programmed mode (Mode 1) and duration of the treatment session (20 minutes): I 20 . Now the apparatus is ready for a treatment session with the parameters programmed or for an adjustment of Mode and Duration parameters in accordance with a particular treatment scheme.
In the case, if the device continues to be in a status "Preparation for work" or of reduced power consumption (the display goes out, no data indicated on it), one should press the button C "Start/Stop" . After that the automatically programmed mode will be indicated on the display.
Entering MODE parameter
Now one is to enter the data on the Mode of a particular treatment procedure, as indicated in the treatment scheme. Pressing the button ? "Mode" , choose the mode, prescribed by the treatment scheme. The number of the Mode chosen is indicated on the left side of the digital display. By each button pressure the number will be changed according to the cycle: 1-2-3-4 - 1-2-… etc.
Entering treatment session duration parameter
Enter the data on the duration of the treatment session as indicated in the treatment scheme. Using buttons " + " and " - " , choose the duration, prescribed by the treatment scheme. The duration of the treatment session chosen is indicated by the two figures on the right side of the digital display. The duration of the treatment session can vary from 1 to 60 minutes with the step of 1 minute. If one presses buttons " + " or " - " for more than 1 second, the duration of the treatment procedure increases (decreases) automatically as indicated on the display.
Performing treatment procedure
Membrane surfaces are to be applied to the body covered with a gauze, paper or cotton towel (for hygienic reasons). Application should be made in zones described in the treatment scheme.
After the data on indicated in the particular treatment scheme Mode and Duration of the treatment session is entered and indicated on the display, press and release the button C "Start/Stop". When the button is pressed, the apparatus begins to perform the treatment procedure programmed. One will see blinking of the figures, indicating duration of the treatment session - this means that timer has started its work. The changing figures on the display indicate the time, left before the treatment session is over.
When the apparatus is in work, a continuous sound of changing frequency is to be produced by vibrating membranes of the vibrophones. During first 5-30 seconds of work, sonic frequency will be considerably low (30 - 60 Hz). Then it must continuously change from very low to very high, almost ultra-audible (9000 - 18000 Hz) values and back - from very high to very lower - in a continues cycle of frequency changing.
Completion of the treatment procedure
When a treatment session is over, the device automatically completes its activity and after a short break (of 1-2 seconds) enters a status waiting for data entry. The data on the mode and treatment session duration, indicated on the display, will be still valid for the treatment procedure already over.
In case of need, a treatment procedure can be discontinued any moment by pressing and releasing the button C "Start/Stop". After this initially programmed parameters will be indicated on the display.
Automatic switching off of the apparatus
If no buttons were pressed during the time period of more that 60 seconds and the apparatus was ready for data entry of adjustment, the figures on the display go out and a point is visible at the place of the Mode parameter indication. One can interrupt this by pressing any button on the front panel of the apparatus.
In the case if the apparatus was not utilized for the time period of more than 4 minutes, it will automatically choose the status of reduced power consumption. Nothing is indicated on the digital display. One can interrupt the status of reduced power consumption by pressing and releasing the button C "Start/Stop". After this for a short period of time the following data will be indicated on the display: I (status "Preparation for work"). Then, in 2 seconds, one will see on the display automatically programmed mode (Mode 1) and duration of the treatment session (20 minutes): I 20 . Now the apparatus is ready for a treatment session with the parameters programmed or for an adjustment of Mode and Duration parameters in accordance with a particular treatment scheme.
The device switching off
When all the treatment procedures are over, switch the apparatus off, disconnect it from the power source, disconnect the vibrophones and put them into protective case to avoid damage of their membranes, then put the device into its original package.
In the case if before switching off the apparatus was in the status of reduced power consumption, it is recommended to interrupt it by pressing the button C "Start/Stop". Then the device can be switched off.
During long breaks between using sessions the apparatus should be stored in its initial package in the conditions, enlisted in the chapter "Exploitation, transportation and storage rules".

"Vitafon" was initially created to cure the consequences of trauma. But, along with its application, the range of diseases treatable with "Vitafon" therapy has extended. This is a natural process. Experience is being accumulated, advantages and disadvantages become distinct and, to this day, the indications and contraindications for the application of the vibroacoustic effect have been identified. There is no doubt that in time the list of pathological conditions in which "Vitafon" exerts a favourable effect will be extended.
